PediSmart™
Step Ahead. Automatically.
PediSmart™ is a patented Ecolab innovation designed to help dairy farms improve hoof health, support animal welfare, increase labor efficiency and enhance overall farm productivity through a more consistent approach to preventive hoof hygiene.
Combining smart chemistry and targeted application after milking, PediSmart™ aims to bring preventive hoof hygiene seamlessly into the daily routine, helping farms address hoof health challenges while reducing operational complexity.
Why Hoof Health Matters
Digital Dermatitis remains one of the most common hoof health challenges on dairy farms.
Poor hoof health can impact:
- Cow mobility
- Animal welfare
- Labor efficiency
- Farm profitability
As farms grow and labor becomes more constrained, maintaining a consistent preventive hoof hygiene routine becomes increasingly challenging.
A New Approach to Preventive Hoof Hygiene
PediSmart is a patented Ecolab innovation designed to bring automation, smart chemistry and targeted application together in a single hoof hygiene concept.
By integrating hoof hygiene into the cow's normal routine after milking, PediSmart is designed to support more consistent preventive care while helping farms address labor and operational challenges. The patented technology reflects Ecolab's commitment to rethinking preventive hoof hygiene for modern dairy operations.
